Description
1994 Baldwin Model C Grand Piano #325497 | Polished Ebony – Excellent!
The name ‘Baldwin’ has long been synonymous with high-quality craftsmanship within the piano industry. Founded in 1862 by Dwight Hamilton Baldwin, the company began as a musical instrument retail business. Eventually, the company grew and expanded into manufacturing, with the first pianos rolling out of their factory in 1890. Awarded a Grand Prize at the 1900 International Exposition in Paris, the quality and innovation of the Baldwin company continued to grow until they became one of the most popular piano builders of the 20th century. American-built Baldwin Model C #325497 is a wonderful example of that legacy. This ‘baby’ grand piano has been expertly refurbished by our piano technicians ensuring lasting performance for years to come.
The cabinet is in a rich, polished ebony, accented by solid brass hardware. The traditional American-style cabinet rests on spade legs, terminating in brass ferrules and casters. The instrument includes a matching duet width bench. The belly of the piano has includes the original solid spruce soundboard. We have installed a new, custom-fitted, hard maple pinblock. New premium music wire and soft-copper bass strings have been affixed to new, blued tuning pins allowing for a stable tune. The action has been regulated and voiced by our piano technicians and the instrument features a rich, American quality of tone that is sure to please. This instrument is one of the finest pre-owned pianos we have for sale today. Set up a private selection appointment by contacting us.
