I recently purchased a piano from Chupp’s and was very happy with the experience. Dennis and Tim Chupp are highly knowledgeable, skilled, and friendly, and they have a world-class inventory of outstanding pianos.
One facet of purchasing a piano through Chupp’s that I very much appreciated was their “no pressure” approach: I arranged a showing in advance (outside of their normal hours, for which they were very accommodating), and when I arrived, they greeted me, showed me around the facility, and then “turned me loose” in the showroom, where I could play any piano, for as long as I’d like. In stark contrast to some other locations where the sales representatives may “hover,” Tim and Dennis spent the time working on restorations in another room, so I truly had the showroom to myself. I really appreciated having the time to try each of their pianos, and to think through which one was the right one for me, without the pressure of a sales representative following me around.
Once I had selected a piano, Tim and Dennis walked me through the whole process, from paperwork to delivery, and they patiently addressed all of my questions and concerns. After I left, Tim maintained constant communication until the piano was in my home. I am very happy with my purchase.
