Square Grand Pianos are an important part of modern piano development. Square Grands were incredibly popular during the 18th and 19th centuries and a vast number of them were sold. Mechanically different than modern pianos of today, these instruments contributed a number of advancements that are still in use today. Steinway Square #41991 was delivered to a Brooklyn, New York client in 1880. Fully restored and refinished, this rosewood piano is a wonderful living example of an important piece in the development of today's modern instruments. This piano was sold to a client in Georgia.
