Chupp’s Pianos Embraces Solar Power at Expanded Facility
In 2024 an additional source of electrical power was added to our expanded shop and showroom in New Paris – an extensive solar system was installed allowing us to greatly cut down on grid power usage during working hours. This investment showcases our mission of blending traditional craftsmanship with modern advancements.
The piano shop system from Advanced Solar of Warsaw, Indiana features 63 high-efficiency 440-watt solar panels, producing a total of 27.7 kW of power, supported by two 10 kW SolarEdge inverters. Additionally, the nearby house system includes 22 solar panels generating 9.7 kW of power, paired with a 7.6 kW SolarEdge inverter.
