Our restored Steinway Concert Grand Pianos have found homes at numerous concert and performance venues across the country.  Well over 95% of performing concert pianists choose to perform on Steinway & Sons Grand Pianos. Due to this overwhelming demand, our restored Steinway Model D Grand Pianos are utilized heavily in many venues across the continent. Featuring a powerful, robust bass section and an amazingly rich overall tone, the Model D stands as the apex of the company’s piano design. Truly ‘grand’ instruments, these 9′ pianos offer the artist an incredible range of expression and are the largest pianos in regular production by Steinway. First introduced in 1884, Steinway Model D Grands have become the instrument of the immortals.

Our rebuilt concert grand pianos are painstakingly crafted to ensure a responsive touch and a lively, Steinway quality of tone. Each fully restored Steinway Model D we provide has been crafted with the musicality of the instrument foremost in mind. Employing the finest custom selected parts, we spend many hours beyond the industry norm regulating and voicing the piano. This process is essential in creating a piano worthy of any concert stage. Proper soundboard restoration or replacement methods are closely followed. The same care is taken on the aesthetics of the piano. The cast iron plates are re-bronzed, appropriate decals are affixed and the cabinets are refinished utilizing a closed pore, hand rubbed finishing method. Our restored Steinway Model D Grands are fully capable of satisfying the demands of any concert level artist.
